A little bit more ABOUT me
Who am I and what do I want?
My name is Brian Chan, a young college student studying Mass Communications with a deep love for photography, videography, and journalism. As a child, I have always been deeply interested in the art of storytelling, primarily storytelling in the form of photographs, films, YouTube videos, and journalism articles.
Eventually, my curiosity compelled me to get myself a photo camera. Needless to say, I fell in love with the art form almost immediately. Soon enough, I was selected as the student photographer in my middle/high school, a position I held for 4 whole years.
At the same time, I began studying the art of writing and oration, eventually getting selected as a representative of Beaconhouse Malaysia at the Beaconhouse International Student Convention Oman 2018 in the panel discussion category. I proceeded to win a Silver medal in that respective event. I was also chosen as one of the Malaysian candidates for the photography contest in that same event as well.
Put both of these things together and you have yourself someone primed for a career in journalism, and media. My dream for the future is to become a world-class storyteller with a reach spanning the globe.
